1. In reviewing your business over the last four years, how much of it was self-generated through relationships that you developed and how much was generated by the company directly or indirectly?  If the answer is that your personal efforts accounted for 70% or more of your gross income go to #2.
2. What are the most important components to your success and why?  If you believe that cultivating, building and maintaining relationships are the key to your success in the industry, go to #3.
3. Do you want to be associated with a firm that believes the quality of the real estate professional and the service the client receives has to be consistent throughout and within the entire company?  If you are an individual who is a team player, who understands the benefit of working together and understands the power of a team vs. the individual, move to #4.
4. In the last four years how much income did it cost you to work for your Broker when you consider commission split, administration fees that come off the top of each closed transaction, risk management fees, desk fees, advertising fees collected on a monthly or annual basis?  If it adds up to 20% or more you should go to #5.
